Challenge Rules & Info

INFORMATION ON OUR SPRING CHALLENGE! 

It starts WEDNESDAY APRIL 18TH and will run for 8 weeks, with our last day on TUESDAY, JUNE 12TH. Feel free to invite friends and family to the group. All are welcome, women and men!

There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for two categories: (1) Total points earned in the competition, and (2) total body weight percentage lost.

Entry fee is $20. YOU MUST ENROLL AND PAY by Tuesday, April 17th. You can message me on Facebook to get info on how to pay and enroll.

CATEGORIES:

I will provide a spreadsheet for you to print out at home and keep track of your points, which are outlined below.

YOU MUST PRINT OUT YOUR SHEET AND FILL IT OUT DAILY.

You will turn in your weekly totals to me at the end of each week (Wednesdays). The easiest way to do this is to take a picture of your sheet and send it to me. I can look at the totals on your sheet and input them into my own spreadsheet for the group.

WEEKLY TOTALS WILL BE POSTED SO EVERYONE CAN SEE WHERE THEY ARE IN THE COMPETITION.

The points are as follows:

Fruits/Veggies - 2 points per day for 5 serving of fruits and/or veggies. You get 3 points per day if 3 or more servings are from veggies (21 possible points each week).

Weekly Challenge - A challenge will be announced on our Facebook group (Friendships in Fitness) each week, and points will vary based on the challenge (Possible points vary each week).

Water - 1 point per day drinking 8 cups or more (7 possible points each week).

Tracking - 1 point for tracking your calories, with one day off each week (6 possible points each week).

Calories - 3 points for staying under your calories, with one day off each week (18 possible points each week).
Exercise - 1 point for 15 minutes, 2 points for 30 minutes, 3 points for 45 minutes, and 5 points for an hour! You can earn these points 5 days of the week, taking 2 days off to rest (25 possible points each week).
BONUS:

You can earn an extra 2 or 3 points each week by entering your points every day on our Facebook group, Friendships in Fitness. There will be a link at the top of our Facebook page that takes you to an online survey. The survey will ask you to enter your points for each category that day and takes under one minute to complete. Bonus days are picked randomly throughout the competition, so it's in your best interest to input your points every day in order to try for the bonus. There will be a total of 20 bonus points possible by the end of the competition.

YOU MUST INPUT YOUR DAILY TOTALS BY NOON THE NEXT DAY IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THE BONUS POINT.

PLEASE NOTE: The online survey is NOT a tracker for you points. You still have to keep track of your points with your sheet at home and send me your weekly totals.
